The Color Purple

For this personal project, I created an original cover design inspired by Alice Walker’s The Color Purple. The artwork features a portrait of a black woman, with her natural textured hair blending into a collage of scenes evoking the novel’s historical and emotional themes. The palette centers on purples and soft earth tones. This is a non-commercial, artistic tribute to the novel’s powerful legacy.
